What's new in Altair AI Studio 2026.1

Rapidminer AI Studio 2026.1.1 brings the latest updates designed to enhance the user experience, streamline data operations, and improve overall stability.
New Features
This release introduces several significant new capabilities:
- OAuth Client Support for Connections: The system now supports the definition of OAuth Clients as a new connection type. These clients function as Injection Sources, enabling the injection of access tokens into JDBC Connections. Initial support is provided for Snowflake and Databricks.
- OAuth Authentication for JDBC Connections: Direct support for OAuth as an authentication scheme has been added for JDBC Connections when interacting with Snowflake and Databricks databases.
- Data Samples Extension: A new Data Samples extension has been integrated, providing a Generate Sample Data operator. This operator facilitates direct access to basic data samples from the Samples Repository, streamlining data preparation and testing.
- Enhanced Trim/Strip Operator: A new Trim/Strip operator has been implemented. This operator offers advanced functionality, including the ability to define custom characters for stripping and expanded support for Unicode whitespace characters. The previous Trim operator is now deprecated.
