RapidMiner Server Administration
These sections describe the tasks involved in managing and maintaining RapidMiner Server. (If you have not already done so, you should first install the application.) RapidMiner Server provides a web interface for managing the users, connections, and application itself. Much of your work will be done from the RapidMiner Server Administration tab of the web interface:
To get started, you can read a brief overview of the RapidMiner Server platform. Then, jump in with the (often optional) administration tasks:
- Managing users and groups, including special users
- Modifying configuration files and commonly accessed settings
- Server maintenance, including backing up the operations database, and upgrading the software
- Creating connections, including creating database connections and other connections
- Security, including changing the administrator password, enabling HTTPS and Radoop Proxy Security
- Customizing RapidMiner Server's Appearance through server branding
- Installing extensions
- Error diagnosis
First, however, you must install and log in to RapidMiner Server and change the administrator password.
