What's new in Altair AI Studio 2024.1

Released: Sep 3, 2024

AI Studio is more Internationalized

In our ongoing commitment to expanding global accessibility, Altair AI Studio 2024.1 now supports the Korean language. This update includes full GUI internationalization (i18n) and introduces operator help documents with i18n support. The 2024.1 release adds Chinese (zh) translations for operator help documents. We plan to expand language support for operator help documentation in future releases

Altair Units Licenses Updates

From version 2024.1, Altair AI Studio will stack Altair units with other Altair RapidMiner products and level units with other versions of Altair AI Studio.

To ease out the Altair units license management, the Windows installers for AI Studio are now shipping the Altair license management GUI utility called ‘almutil_gui’. The utility can be found under the Altair license management folder in the installation directory.

Note: There is no change in the number of units for Altair AI Studio.

Additional Interactive Decision Tree Settings

Interactive Decision tree adds additional support for selecting the color of the nodes for both numerical and categorical targets. Along with color selection, a new setting to view the tree horizontally is added to the settings.

Other noteworthy enhancements

Scatter Visualizations: Added the option to display linear and LOESS regression interpolations simultaneously.

AI Hub Projects: Resolved naming inconsistencies; "AI Hub Projects" are now correctly labelled and no longer referred to as "AI Hub Repositories."

Trust Store Support: The platform now reads the Windows Trust Store by default, automatically loading certificates from the root folder.
