What's New in Altair AI Studio 2024.0.1?

The following sections describe what's new in Altair AI Studio 2024.0.1

Added a migration.log file that contains the logging from pre-launch migration processes. That file is stored either in the working directory of the launched AI Studio version or, if a migration process fails, in the shared working directory or, if that does not exist yet, in the legacy .RapidMiner directory. If even that does not exist, the log will be saved in the user’s home directory.
Added a file error handling to the migration process to not abort the migration completely when not being able to access some single files. The migration will skip files that cause errors and log these files with their respective error into the migration.log file.
Interactive Analysis Settings button moved from the mini-map menu to the top-right corner, right below the Download as Image button
Improved design of the "Altair Units required for IDT" panel when trying to open the Interactive Analysis view without an Altair Units license
Added Write Google BigQuery operator as part of Cloud Connectivity extension

Fixed an issue in the Read CSV operator, that could lead to a number parsing error, when using the “Import Configuration Wizard…” while the parse numbers parameter was deactivated before
Fixed bug leading to an infinite cascade of error messages. The error occurred when loading a different process while an external program is executed in the current process.
Fixed loading display on the interactive decision tree. If there is an ongoing process which needs to be finished before other actions could be taken, there is a spinner displayed instead of the action buttons under the nodes.
Fixed interactive decision tree terminal node issue, where the 0 count elements were removed after tree updates
Fixed interactive decision tree bug where disribution values list within nodes didn't maintain order during tree updates
The Generate Attributes operator can now handle exotic System time zone offsets like GMT-06:00.
Fixed the AI Studio batch file not being able to restart properly when installing new extensions
Fixed a potential issue where some operators from Custom Operator extensions would not load
Fixed an issue where Auto Model and Turbo Prep could take a long time loading when using data with columns with long or many different nominal values

As Google BigQuery capabilities were added to the Cloud Connectivity extension bundled with this release, the InDB extension which provided these capabilities before needs to be updated to the newest version.
