New Features
- Added new features for the interactive decision tree:
- added new dialog for settings, which replaces the popup menu in the top right corner
- added new feature under settings to change background color of the continuous nodes
- added new feature under settings to change color of columns/classes on nodes for non continuous nodes, which color change will be represented in background color as well
- added new feature under settings to switch layout of the tree between vertical and horizontal
- For Windows, the almutil and almutil_gui are now bundled with the AI Studio installation in the folder Altair License Management
- AI Studio now also loads the Trusted Root Certification Authorities of the operating system by default.
- Added Korean translation for most UI components
Enhancements
- Fixed the loading order of operators during startup. This reduces warnings on first startup for certain custom extensions.
- Renamed the context menu action Configure Repository to Configure when right-clicking a repository or project in the Repository Canvas.
- AI Hub Projects are now correctly referred; They were sometimes called AI Hub Repositories.
- Updated the documentation for many operators.
- Made operator documentation translatable, including ports, parameters and parameter values
- Moved the cacerts folder to .AltairRapidminer/AI Studio/shared as it does not need to be versioned for each AI Studio installation. The folder will be automatically moved to shared for new installations on the first launch.
- Added a Save Changes dialog for Import Process in case an unsaved process is currently opened
- Processes without location are now considered unsaved
- Replace "https://googleauth.rapidminer.com " with "https://storageauth.rapidminer.com " for all OAuth login requests in extensions.
- Changed Altair Unit draw behavior
- AI Studio now stacks with other software
- AI Studio now levels with other instances of itself (only for this version and up)
- Add support for connecting to Google BigQuery using service accounts and Workload Identity Federation (WIF), including the conversion of KC tokens to Google tokens. Ensure compatibility with AI Cloud and AI Studio (with AI Hub).
- Added option to see both linear and loess regression interpolations in Scatter visualizations at the same time
- Improved loading of database tables for Read Database parameters and query dialog
Bugfixes
- Fixed bug on Interactive decision tree, where node traverse caused 0 values to disappear
- Fixed bug on Interactive decision tree, where node size on the minimap was not valid
- Fixed a bug that led to missing non-western characters in text editors, UI components and operator help, when using a custom font under Windows.
- Fixed Extension directory setting broken by migration from 10.x to 2024.0 in case of special characters in the path to the user home
- Fixed some cases of lagging UI in Turbo Prep
- Fixed an issue causing database write operations to fail when executing them for MonetDB.
