What's New in RapidMiner Server 2.5.0?

This page describes enhancements and improvements in RapidMiner Server 2.5.0.

Changed URL schema of RapidMiner Server Web interface. New context root is /; RA, RR, and RAWS have been removed. Existing (v2.4 and earlier) URLs will continue to work.
Improved database connection validation via the web UI.
Improved feedback when trying to execute an operator for which the RapidMiner Server license is insufficient.
With improvements to the installation procedure, JDBC .jar files are now resolved relative to the installer, making headless (remote) installations much simpler.
Improved Process Service editing. As a consequence, renaming of services is no longer possible.
Removed option to start RapidMiner Studio via Webstart.

BUGFIX: Fixed rare problem where repository entries could not be deleted.
BUGFIX: Fixed possible error when checking connection permissions.
BUGFIX: Fixed "underflow" bug for very small numbers in an ExampleSet stored via Store operator when running on PostgreSQL.
