What's new in RapidMiner Studio 8.2
Error messaging
We've started the process of making operators less prone to user errors, and made the error messages more informative. Improved operators include: Read Excel, Read CSV, Transpose, Expectation Maximization Clustering, Support Vector Clustering, De-Pivot, K-Means, Performance Ranking, Discretize by Entropy, and Map Clustering on Labels.
GUI tweaks
Removed search button from Global Search to make user interface clearer and the whole feature a bit subtler. You can retrieve search results by clicking into the search field.
Meta operator look, and feel was changed, so it’s easily distinguishable from regular operators.

Shortcuts introduced to boost process design:
- Connect output ports to the results of the process on double click on the operator port.
- Double click on operator to open its most important action (if it has one, e.g. the script of Execute Script) in a separate modal window.
- Quick fix feature now integrated into Studio’s warning/error bubbles.
